A YouTuber has been stripped of their whole channel of 190,000 subscribers after posting gameplay footage from the new horror game Hellraiser: Revival. YouTube enforced a permanent account ban despite the creator having blurred out nudity in the video. The creator said the decision wiped out a decade of content.

The ban looks linked to the game's extreme gore rather than nudity alone. Hellraiser: Revival has been noticed for violent content that goes past the threshold YouTube's content policies allow, even when creators try to edit the footage before uploading.
