US President Donald Trump has called on Ukraine to choose new leadership, saying Volodymyr Zelenskyy should reach an agreement with Russia to end the war.
Trump also pointed the finger at Zelenskyy for climbing fuel costs in the United States, warning Kyiv to cease hitting Russian oil refineries he says are set to provide American fuel.
The comments came on 10 October 2026, the same day Britain's Prime Minister spoke separately by phone with Zelenskyy, according to the UK government.
