Two WNBA playoff semifinals move forward Friday, Oct. 9, with both series reaching Game 3. The New York Liberty welcome Atlanta to their home floor, though Atlanta loses a key piece as guard Allisha Gray is ruled out with an injury. The Liberty hold the series advantage and play at home.

In the other semifinal, the Golden State Valkyries face the Las Vegas Aces. Golden State picked up a road win in Game 2 and now sits one win from a Finals berth. The Valkyries relied on contributions up and down the lineup to beat the Aces in Game 2, setting up a high-stakes Game 3 on Friday.
